Someone Got Me To Make Them an Actual Toy!!

I made this for Jo over at www.junkyardangels.com. It is Made of all sorts of different woods about 14" long and has a working "hook truck" mechanism.

What mum and Carina got for X-mas.

Carina got a 15" long off road squirrel made of fir and R/C tires.

Mom got 4 eight inch walnut and birch knick knack shelves, they both where happy.

These are some little wooden kitties I made for Christmas gifts. The doppler noise they make as they speed past is mrrrrrooooooooooowwwwwwwww.

There will be a bannister, and all sorts of other brass pipes and such that look like they do something but don't.

fluffy bunnies

These are some older projects. A few Christmases ago I collaborated with my better half to make some stuffed bunnie sculptures.

I recently was asked by Kris Sayer, a local Vancouver cartoonist and Vancouver Comic Jam buddy, if I could make her a giant spoon, because she needed it to complete her arsenal. 'Nuff said.

The spoon is about 6 feet long, and the bowl about a foot wide. I really enjoyed making it. Do you want a giant spoon too? Check out Kris's artwork at www.tatterhood.com

Monster

This is the first sculpure I've made that can actually crush me. Like a Richard Serra sculpture. Note the hammer on the floor for size reference.

Twisted Sister

Here's some lovely ladies I've finished. Sally has the red dress, bear slippers and a chain fist. Her sister Polly has the cyclops eye, tentacles, flippers and a nice blue dress. Sally: wood, Paint, doll eyes, love, dress Polly: wood, paint, love, dress, acrylic sphere, doll eye.

I've been building some gigantic robots as a collaboration with noted Sacramento artist, Skinner.

He's going to paint his Skinnery goodness on them.

The robots are fully posable and about 3 feet tall.

Not the Original G.

This traditional wooden chain is all made out of one peice of Baku, including the G, and is inlaid with ivory from old piano keys. The G is meant to be a freemason thing, but the gangster thing is fun too. whatever you like.

Bunny With and Empty Bowl

This is a carving I made out of a piece of wood I found in a fire log pile. It's ceader and it smells good.
